According to CNI News correspondant Bufo Calvin, the Sacramento television station KCRA-TV announced on August 8, 1995 that psychologist Dr. Richard Boylan has been stripped of his licence to practice.
Boylan is the author of the 1994 book CLOSE EXTRATERRESTRIAL
ENCOUNTERS, and is well-known on the UFO lecture circuit as an advocate of the idea that most "abductions" should be viewed as positive events. His book is subtitled, "Positive Experiences with Mysterious Visitors."
Rumors of possible professional misconduct had circulated for more than a year. The KCRA news story said that Boylan had been censured on three kinds of complaints: injecting his own agenda into his patients' dreams, rather than treating their problems; nude hot-tubbing with patients; and bartering nude massages for therapy.
