LAURANCE ROCKEFELLER'S UFO REPORT IS PUBLISHED

[This story ran in the New York Post on February 26, 1996.]

Laurance Rockefeller is about to start lobbying political honchos even harder in his dogged search for extraterrestrial life.

The 85 year old philanthropist, brother of Nelson Rockefeller, recently commissioned the report on UFOs called, "Unidentified Flying Objects: The Best Available Evidence." Released on February 26, copies of the 150 page analysis will be given to 1000 world leaders including Henry Kissinger, Colin Powell, Jacques Chirac and Walter Annenberg, in an effort to press the U.S. Government to release secret files on UFOs.

Michael Luckman, Director of the New York Center For UFO Research, says that Rockefeller, who has already donated more than 700,000 dollars to a UFO foundation, also wants former government intelligent officers released from their security oaths so that they can talk about this supposed evidence.
