Background: A few days ago, I received a fax from Granada London Week-end Television (LWT). They produced a series of reports called "Strange but True." One of the programs was "The town with 800 UFO sightings." Following is the abstract from the International Press Officer of Granada LWT.
"Bonnybridge, a small town near Falkirk in Scotland, is the world's newest and biggest UFO hotspot. Over the last couple of years, more than 800 UFOs have been sighted there, and the phenomenon has reached such proportions that anxious locals held a public meeting.
"We interviewed eyewitnesses, including a family who claim to have caught a UFO on videotape and two men who have become obsessed by their close encounter.
"But our main case happened in woods near Livingston. Bob Taylor, a forestry worker, was out on patrol when he says he was attacked by a 'huge thing with a big round dome.' Police treated the case as assault by person or persons unknown. Although they have never solved it, a forensic scientist says Bob's story is consistent with the damage found on his clothes."
Further Note: Nico Maillard reports that he has been promised a look at the videotape concerning these cases, and he'll send followup information when available.
