This is a FAQ on the Roswell 1947 story for the month of December (1997)...
Released a day early.
1.0 What other evidence has surfaced and what other conclusions have you drawn?
a. Thus far we have examined over 10,000 pages of documentary evidence submitted by the public, researched over 100,000 leads, and met to discuss details with five groups of Military and Government representatives either by phone or in person. We have concluded that the US Military does maintain a secret project roughly entitled "ExtraTerrestrial Electronic Space Command" Directorate, and has an asset named "Skystation" as evidenced on the Fax sent us, that it is the property of the EESCD or E2 for short.
We also understand that the Wright Patterson Air Force Information Technologies section known as "Special Purpose Operating Software" has created a version of the AT&T UNIX kernel called "Skystation" for use in some manner controlling communicating computers critical to the C3I and E2SC initiatives. We have also concluded that the Military has a so-called "ready action plan" for responding to threats from Space Invasion that is designed to deter both the Terrestrial form of same and the ExtraTerrestrial form of same and that it is, in fact, not known or operated by some modern day derivative of the Atom Bomb Project Control Group. It is the present day off shoot of an important Cold War study and development effort that has led to projects designed to, in essence, "booby trap" the upper atmosphere (like the Star Wars project) and to develop space based mines, space based laser and particle beam weapons, smart missiles capable of operating trans atmospherically, and weapons that could be used in space based combat. During the course of it, the Military has also developed a Nuclear Weapon capable of beaming energy at extremely high wavelengths and strong electron magnetic pulses which could, in essence obliterate or disintegrate a Space Craft as large as 200 city blocks in size square, and has toyed with development of extremely dense particle accelerators as drive motors for Space Craft. It is our belief that these weapons and transportation means are quite too expensive for present day economies but are capable of being built and deployed rapidly, if needed, during a War Time economy.
We have also concluded that the US Military has clocked, observed, and even paced a high speed object it believes to have been an observer craft from an Alien Species operating within our Solar System, believes that the species who sent it here have placed an observation post in our Solar System to watch us, as we are apparently an especially noisy species, radiographically, and there is little secrecy to our technological evolution, and believes that the Alien Species in question is humanoid, and looks at us as a "very young, possibly out of control" Species, potentially a threat to their civilization or a candidate for future "recruitment". In some circles, speculation exists whether the "recruitment" has not already begun, and several "special persons" (consisting of representatives of the Species) are already working in an "exchange capacity" for the US Government.
Information obtained by the military, would suggest that species, while humanoid, look very different from us but nonetheless had a somewhat similar evolutionary history (but not like the Greys in common pictographics), are very healthy, very strong and longer lived than we are (about 50% longer). It has been suggested that a small exploratory space craft was launched by the US Military, that it was manned, and that it was sent to a distance from Earth that might enable us to "observe the observers". In another circle, it has been suggested that an Alien was in captivity of the US Air Force until 1952 (June 18) but died, and that our efforts to help it return to its people were hindered by lack of a simple auditory language such as humans use. We also suspect that the Air Force has ONE very advanced foreign space craft in their possession that was not manufactured nor engineered on Planet Earth, and has tried many ways to reproduce its capabilities. The easier capabilities which Air Force could assess, were sold off to commercialization effort through the same mechanism as the Government engages in other Technology Transfer efforts: proposals come in from various groups, like Bell Labs, and the directors of the Government/Military project pick the most desirable proposal (per law and per their guidelines) and declare them "the winner" and that company gets the 'whatever' and can commercialize it to meet the objectives of its proposal and for whatever other purposes it chooses at its own expense.
2.0 What about the Transcapacitor, when will be see a project that uses them?
a. At this time, we are guessing it will take between 4 and 6 years to produce Transcapacitors that are commercially viable. It took Bell about twice that to commercialize the Transistor fully (1947-1958 and up through 1963). At this time, we have fabricated a dozen or so samples and put them into test applications. They are pretty crude and don't work very well, but they still outperform the Transistor/Capacitor used in common memory, have no discernible heat loss, and operate extremely fast. We may submit some to the National Science Foundation for evaluation during 1998 or 1999, after the lawyers determine the full extent of patent ability. 3.0 Is this all a hoax?
We certainly hope not! Some would disagree and frequently like to point at past facts we discovered that have since been updated with further exploration, calling the continuing evolution of this inquiry "contradictory". Yet such is the nature of Inquiry (and certainly the Internet - which is a 'living document'): At one moment you believe that the Nuclear Materials Handling Division and Depot at an Air Force Base near Roswell, NM would have been worth "scouting" if you were an Alien in a fast moving space craft, and the next, you find out more, like the project to mate V-2's Rockets converted to ICBMS and Nuclear Bombs converted to warheads, took place only a short distance down "the extraterrestrial superhighway" down in White Sands. Yet we are the first to admit: this is an ongoing Inquiry, and it has not yet proven the story is TRUE or false. Although, we at this point tend to believe the story presented us and depicted on this website IS MORE LIKELY NOT A HOAX. We do, however, believe that there are quite a lot of HOAXER's out there, and so we have to deal with all evidence with a very fine point of examination. For instance, someone in late July hacked there way into our website and altered the content of the Roswell web page to display weird information, and to forward the email from it to an Account "comp'd" to Lotus Development Corporation by a Web Service Provider in the MidWest (not that Lotus themselves knew it...), and we had to add security to the server the likes of which irritates the National Security Agency every time we put it up on the Web.
And recently, someone tried to extort us, threatening to publish documents they said would disprove our story and make us look silly, and demanded money for silence. We ignored them, they're idiots.
As we mentioned: at this point, we still don't know the whole truth about Roswell. But question 1 should indicate to you what we suspect is the truth. We also believe that Government and Public Disinformation effects have totally obscured the entire Extra Terrestrial Investigations field, causing distinct areas of inquiry, such as unexplained sightings, oddities like Crop Circles and Cattle Mutilation Reports, and abductions, to end up categorized with the foregoing subject lumped together by badly thought out Press reports, under the general heading "Paranormal". There is nothing "Paranormal" about contact with an Alien Civilization. Has it occurred, or shall it soon occur, or both, or neither, it would be "perfectly normal" and justifiably very, very exciting. So-called "supernatural events" such as Crop Circles and Cattle Mutilation Reports, are, in fact, not the same as "contact with an Alien Civilization".
It would be a very strange Alien Civilization that would visit Earth only to run around a Corn Field leveling a design into the Field that looked like a piece of 70's jewelry. Equally so, it would be a very weird Alien Civilization who came to earth to run around the countryside mutilating cattle and abducting thousands of individuals and performing strange experiments on them that leave no traces of having been performed on humans. Yet that does not explain either event. And, it could be that a very few Human Beings have been abducted by an Alien Civilization which may have visited us and abducted a few out of curiosity or bad intent, and it could be that some markings in some fields were made by some unexplained UFO. Perhaps some are disinformation campaigns fueled by those who derive an income from the subject matter or are paid to discredit the related disciplines.
The problem is, there is now so much money to be made in the Paranormalism Fields of Study (note that to date, we have rejected any offers of money and turned down all film and book deals) that in our society where money often rules the mind of man, the financial incentives alone are sufficient to motivate people to make claims that support these contentions without having to substantiate them, and many simply live or die to "own" some piece of "the action". We at ACC routinely receive offers from groups and individuals claiming to be interested in "collaborating" with us or "merging their efforts" or who invite us to participate in objective studies with them or co-author a book or work on a Film (I'm surprised no one has come forward and asked us to make a Music Video - actually one company did try to get us to foot the bill of what was an 'infoMercial'), but we at ACC still remain aloof and publish what we find in a manner aimed to compel the conscience of our peers in the US Military to "come clean" with the Public, at least more so than they have been doing during the past 50 years. Call it a moral sense of duty to the citizens of our country and the citizens of the World: that motivates the American Computer Company more than anything else. We even doubt we will ever see dollar one from the Trans capacitor, however: studying it has established for us a "working model" that enables us to more effectively conclude the likelihood that what we believe, and what Lt. Corso and Bill Birnes and individuals such as Dr. Stanton Friedman, Charles Berlitz and others have proposed all along about technology commercialization, is, in fact, true, unbelievable or not. We are cautiously disinterested "who's details" may be more accurate than "who's aren't" - that is not the point - we are looking at a specific goal.
Perhaps, if we all stay UNIFIED (imagine that...) and focus on our interest in disclosure and our readiness to be disclosed to, we can get the Air Force to reveal exactly what HAS happened. There is an inherent duty and honor to everything big and small the US Army, the US Air Force and the US Department of Defense are up to, no matter what the adverse opinions held by Secretary William Cohen and General John Shalikashvili and expressed to the public are about Extra Terrestrials and the possibility of Humanity becoming a Space Faring Civilization.
And, perhaps the larger problem of the Colonization of Space and becoming a Space Faring civilization, led by the United States and its allies, will allow the entire World to lay down its arms in favor of a more kind approach to International Politics than the war to control territory, the war to control resources and the war to control human opinion down here "on the surface". Sometimes a much bigger problem does that to all the "littler problems".
4.0 And what of American Computer Company, what is it getting out of all this?
Fact is, we have received enormous publicity, but with little impact on our normal course of our computer sales, except insofar as distracting them (perhaps costing us more than a few), incurring the wrath of professionals in the ETI field who appear to resent newcomers, and the apparent wrath of AT&T (which wrath was "nothing new" here, it had been brewing between us and today's AT&T over other issues for some time). We have weathered the explosion of Public ridicule over our allowing ourselves to be drawn into the issue, because we are very sincere in our interest in determining the Truth, even if it turns out to have been that some farm boy from Virginia invented the Transistor in 1929, and AT&T, having bought the idea from him for $15,000, traded it for world wide notoriety, the Sarnoff and Nobel prizes and obscured that it wasn't 'developed by those fine minds at Bell Labs' they said it was.
The utter lack of prior history on the Transistor Project and the related Innovere Projects set forth by John Morton at AT&T Bell Labs in the 40's through the 70's made AT&T too big, too powerful and too threatening to the People, and so the former Bell System has had to engage in business practice from 7 different companies hoping to weather the storm of AntiTrust and eventually re-unite into a single corporation structure, without the yoke of Federal Regulation around their neck. They aren't an intentionally malevolent company, but they are an extremely dangerous one nonetheless, because by any person's imagination, they do represent the single most powerful business on our Planet, and they do involve themselves in every aspect of the Planet, one way or the other. We can't keep them from knowing our thoughts, because they can hear them on the Internet and on the Telephone networks, they have so much of our information at their disposal, that we have ceased being Customers, and are viewed as the Fatted Calf to the Telephone Company. Involvement in such projects as the Commercialization of the Transistor is, for the Bell System, a "knee jerk" mechanical reaction, for any technology that represents lower costs, greater capabilities and more profits in their main areas of business: telephony, consumer electronics and entertainment, automatically falls under their scrutiny - that is what they are set up to do.
As to ACC, we will always want more business than we have at present. We make computers with 5 Year Warranties and optional Factory On-site service --no small feat considering the standard from the top 10 PC companies is 3 years, with some, like Dell, packaging and offering a short free on-site service period during that time the computer is least likely to break, hoping to get you to renew it at a price. Yet during the course of the Roswell Story's publication, not a single person involved has stepped forward and asked us a single question about any of our product lines in specific, nor any of our warranty programs, nor any of our prices, short perhaps of a single college professor of considerable character and integrity, whose computer when shipped, was dropped by Fedex and will be upgraded shortly with a new mainboard to correct a slightly damaged mouse connector on the one he received which is otherwise working normally. We even manufacture a supercomputer that, by any standards, has been designed to be remarkable: yet the industry is moving away from this kind of technology (at least the main stream) and we do not see all that many organizations coming forward looking for a miraculous computer with 100's of thousands of multi-megainstruction per second performance these days: the world is so pre-occupied profiting from small computers with very small profit margins in them, that the supercomputers are not doing so well, even though our Supercomputer represents the not-too-distant future of the PC (today's PC's, in fact, can outrun supercomputers from the year 1980). Our challenge of IBM to a "chess match" went completely unnoticed after some initial excitement in the Press, as IBM resigned its Deep Blue chess computer, when we offered to play IBM with one of our much faster Valkyries.
So, to answer your question: aside from all the public controversy, ACC has not yielded a single thing other than perhaps proving its point to the DoD about the need to more fully publicize what in fact HAS happened. We do not expect to gain ANYTHING from it all, except, perhaps, the Truth.
Today, someone from the so-called "NEXUS" organization contacted and engaged in a conversation with Jack Shulman, who patrols our phone switchbank periodically to get an idea what's going on. The person who called, suggested that they at Nexus had "thousands of dollars" to support ACC with, and indicated that Scientists and Internationally Renouned ET Investigators were all "on the board" of his organization. He seemed quite surprised when Mr. Shulman told him we were disinterested in his offer. He then contacted Stanton Friedman, who wrote us a letter telling us that we should "do our homework" and to advise us in several paragraphs what he had discovered and mentioned in his books and suggested that he may have been plagerized by William Birnes in "The Day After Roswell".
Bear in mind that we have neither read Dr. Friedman's book nor read William Birnes/Lt. Corso's book. Nor have we read Linda Howe's book, nor have we spent a single hour collecting commercially published works of fact or fiction using them as sources for our story. This is not to say any of the Author's are WRONG: the cross corroboration of their stories to the facts we have presented here on the website is, itself, both remarkable and no coincidence: it is tangable proof of the likelihood that THEIR STORIES, plus additional facts unrevealed, are true, even if some of the words or names they have used have either changed or been misinterpreted by the authors or are in dispute. This fundamental point appears to have been completely missed by one and all.
The ACC Story is NOT derived from any book published by any publishing house, authored by any author: to them we wish only the best in their efforts to make a living by publishing such things.
It is derived from facts provided us by a consultant who knew the principles of the Transistor Project, the management and heads of AT&T and who has opened a lot of people's eyes as to various facts, like the existence of Nike bases, and their stated versus their true purposes, and the coming forward of employees' children from AT&T who claim to have been taken to witness the UFO by extremely proud fathers or mothers. And the long term existence of a Military Project to defend us from the possibility of attack from Space, or that the Transistor Project itself was an illusion, involving some very brilliant minds at AT&T who were among few in the world of late 1947 capable of commercializing the technology from a secret Government Project and living with a cover up of what MIGHT have been a transfer of technology from an Alien Craft in the Government's possession, for the balance of their lives.
These are all facts that we already knew about and have gathered and come to believe may be more true than anyone suspects. We simply hope to prove them, or disprove them, wherever the Truth takes us.
