In a statement sent to CNI News on January 3, 1998, Calabrese said that her parting with Brown is amicable. "We decided the time was right to go in our own direction with the development and application of remote viewing and related paraconscious techniques," Calabrese said, implying some disagreement with Farsight's approach.
"We are aware of the limitations in rv, and are reexamining the principles upon which the current systems are based, so that we can put everything in the proper framework," Calabrese wrote in a posting to the internet.
Calabrese also indicated that she will provide an independent forum on the Web for information received during nightly contacts with an entity she calls "the Grey Dude." (see CNI News Vol. 3, No. 19 of December 1, 1997).
"The Grey Dude encounters are continuing, and there is a great deal more to the whole experience than I have been able to publicly discuss so far," she told CNI News. "I basically limited my comments to those things that pertained to Farsight because I was asked to go before the public as Vice President of the Institute. Now that I am on my own, I can talk about everything freely."
Courtney Brown recently wrote on the Farsight website that he would publish a book in 1998 detailing information from the Grey Dude, but that venture is now in question.
Prudence Calabrese says the new TransDimensional Systems web site will open soon at http://www.largeruniverse.com.
