The mystery surrounding the rumored spaceship crash at Roswell, New Mexico, doesn't end at the crash site. Ever since the landmark event, there have been persistent stories that wreckage from the crash and alien remains were being stored in a hangar at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. In the 1960s, then-Senator Barry Goldwater officially inquired as to what was inside Hangar 18. According to Goldwater, former Air Force Chief of Staff General Curtis Lemay's response was: "Don't ever ask me that question again." But today, SIGHTINGS is asking again, hoping to shed new light on this decades-old mystery. The Air Force continues to deny any sort of cover-up, and claims the buildings collectively known as Hangar 18 are used as aircraft test labs. Still, if the Air Force really has nothing to hide, why has it been so secretive about what was inside Hangar 18?
