    Is  it  possible  that  the  President  of  the United States (Harry S. 
Truman)  deliberately  set  up a secret organization within the government, 
empowered  it to perform all sorts of covert activities......directed it to 
*-LIE-*  to  the  American People.....funded it through untraceable sources 
and  then  simply  turned  it  loose on an unknowing, unsuspecting American 
Public  ?  Is  it  possible that such a secret organization has existed for 
over  forty  years  -  passed  on  from  president to president in absolute 
silence  ?  Is it possible that this organization subverted the U.S. Secret 
Service and engineered the assassination of President John F. Kennedy ? 

    Frankly,  I  don't  have  the  vaguest idea. However, *-if-* MJ-12 does 
exist,  we  should  be asking ourselves another question. WHY ? Why would a 
seemingly  level-headed, somewhat pragmatic statesman like President Truman 
set  up  something  like  MJ-12  ? Why would successive presidents keep the 
existence  of  MJ-12 such a closely guarded secret ? Why would our elected, 
so-called  "defenders  of the constitution" engage in an illicit and highly 
illegal "treaty" with an extra-terrestrial race of beings ?

    Our  first  impulse  is to say that it was due entirely to the puzzling 
appearance  of  more  and more UFO reports. However, that is only a partial 
answer.  History is almost *-NEVER-* moved by a single fact or action. It's 
like  the  game  we  played  as children where we toppled a whole string of

dominoes,  each  one  striking  the  next in the string and on and on. [No, 
this  is  not  the  infamous "domino theory". It is simply an analogy.] If, 
indeed,  President  H.S.T.  set  up  Majestic  12,  it would have been as a 
result  of a complicated set of conditions then existing. Let's take a look 
at those times for a moment.

        ~4ET H E   C L I M A T E   O F   T H E   T I M E S . . . ~1E

    The  United  States  had successfully done what historians and military 
tacticians  down  the  ages  had said was absolutely impossible. Our nation 
had  fought  two terrible wars on two different fronts simultaneously...and 
WE  WON ! Both the stormtrooper government of Nazi Germany and the fanatic, 
suicidal  waves  of Japanese soldiers had been defeated. In the process, we 
had  come  into  direct  contact with a new political force....The Union of  
Soviet  Socialist  Republics  -=- Russia. Although they had been our allies 
during  the  war,  it is certain that many people within our government had 
grave  misgivings  about the socialists. The Czarist Russian government had 
been  toppled  in a bloody revolution by people who appeared to be at least 
as  fanatic as the Japanese.....and every bit as cold-blooded as the Nazis. 
We,  the strongest capitalist nation on earth, found ourselves face-to-face 
with  a  governmentand  a philosophy whose avowed purpose was the overthrow 
of  anything  and  anyone  who  was  a  capitalist......and  THESE WERE OUR 
ALLIES.  As  the  last days of the 1940s reached their sunset and the 1950s 
dawned,  we  found ourselves hip-deep in what has been politely called "the 
Cold War".

    To  make  matters  even  worse,  during  the 1950s a relatively obscure 
American   politician....Senator   Joseph  MacCarthy....realized  that  his 
political  career  was on the wane. "Tailgunner Joe", whose reputation as a 
flying  war  hero  is  alledged to have been largely the product of a vivid 
imagination,  had  done  what almost every other weak politician before him 
had  done.  He  had promised BIG to the voters....and he had produced very, 
very little. 

    Perhaps  he  had  other  reasons  as  well.  We will never know because 
"Tailgunner  Joe"  didn't commit his thoughts on the subject to paper. What 
we  *-DO-*  know  is  that Senator MacCarthy began making speeches at every 
opportunity,    revealing    the    "facts"   of   his   "secret   investi-
gations"...."facts"  that  pointed  to  a  massive  communist conspiracy to 
overthrow  the  U.  S.  Government....."facts" about how the communists had 
infiltrated  many of the major corporations of the United States...."facts" 
about  how  communists had virtually taken over the American film industry, 
intending  to  use  it  as  a  covert  propoganda  machine  to  support the 
overthrow  plot.  Unfortunately,  the nationalism generated by World War II 
was  still  at  full  strength  and  too  many otherwise intelligent people 
listened  to  Joe  MacCarthy  and  believed his "facts". "Tailgunner Joe's" 
power  was  enhanced by the fact that the Director of the Federal Bureau of 
Investigation,  J.  Edgar Hoover, was a staunch political conservative with 
an  extreme,   near-fanatic  dedication  to  what  he  believed  to  be the 
National  Interests  and  National Security. [One of the more popular early 
TV  programs  was  called  "I  Led Three Lives", concerning the work of one 
Joseph  A. Philbrick as an undercover infiltrator into communist spy cells.

    A  special  commission,  with  vast discretionary powers, was formed to 
investigate  the  so-called  Communist  Threat.  [By  the  way,  one of the 
emerging  political  figures  on  that  commission  was a young congressman 
named  Richard  Milhaus  Nixon.]  Before  it was over, hundreds of innocent 
people  would  have  their lives disrupted, their reputations destroyed and 
would  be  "black-listed" from working in their chosen profession. A number 
of these poor, harried people committed suicide as a result. 

    In  a  manner reminiscent of the Nazi Gestappo, friends were encourgaed 
to  betray  friends,  naming anyone who may have even casually mentioned an 
interest  in  the  socialist theories or in the writings of Karl Marx. Some 
people  were  frightened  into  naming names by threats of having their own 
reputations  destroyed; of being imnprisoned. Others named names as a means 
of  currying  favor,  of  destroying  old  enemies,  or of obtaining better 
positions  in  their  careers.  The  Witch Hunt had started and "Tailgunner 
Joe"  became  the  Chief  Judge,  the  Grand  Inquisitor  and the Principal 
Executioner  of this modern "Star Chamber". People, newsmen and politicians 
of  that  day  talked of little else except "The Red Menace" and "The Great 
Communist Conspiracy". THEY DARED NOT DO OTHERWISE !

    It  is  into  this  environment  of suspicion, fear and mutual distrust 
that  we  now  inject  Unidentified  Flying  Objects.  UFOs, dubbed "flying 
saucers"  by  an  imaginative  newspaper  writer, began to be seen more and 
more  frequently. The facts of the matter would indicate that they had been 
present  for quite some time, but at this point in our history, people were 
quick  to  report  anything  and everything that appeared to be "out of the 
ordinary".  The  media  - always out to sell a few more newspapers or a few 
more  movie  tickets,  picked  up  on  UFOs  almost immediately. Newspapers 
reported  the  latest UFO sightings (generally pointing out the gullibility 
and  stupidity  of  the persons who had reported the sighting.) The average 
reader  had  not  yet  forgotten  the nationwide "halloween prank" of Orson 
Welles'  production  of  "War  of the Worlds", so most people dismissed the 
UFO  reports  as  a  hoax  or  another prank. A film version of "War of the 
Worlds"  was  produced  and  soon  the  movie theaters were eyeball deep in 
Outter  Space  movies,  "little  green  men"  invading earth (and sometimes 
threatening  to  ravish its women....appealing to the prurient interests of 
the  audience  sells  more  tickets !) Few people had forgotten actor James 
Arness's  debut  as  a walking vegetable in "The Thing". Steve McQueen made 
his  film  debut  as  a  teenager fighting off an invading horde of "little 
green  men"  whose  hypodermic  fingertips  injected high-grade [drinkable] 
alcohol  into  their  victims,  making the victim falling-down drunk. Let's 
face  it  !  People  enjoyed being frightened by the make-believe menace of 
these Outter Space horror flicks.

    The  government, on the other hand, was *-NOT-* amused. Many of the UFO 
reports  had  come from persons trained as observers - professional airline 
and  armed forces pilots. Their reportings could not be easily dismissed as 
the  babblings of an idiot with an over-excited imagination. It was at this 
point  that President Harry S. Truman alledgedly set up a secret commission 
to  study  these reports, directing it to report ONLY to the President. The 
National  Security  Agency (NSA) was alledgedly formed as the investigative

branch  of  that  secret  commission. Once this had been done, professional 
airline  and  armed  forces  pilots soon found that reporting UFO sightings 
proved   to  be  "counter-productive"  to  their  continued  employment  or 
advancement  in  their profession. Thus, many pilots refused to acknowledge 
a  UFO Sighting even when asked point-blank if they wished to even the most 
blatant example. [This is a condition that persists even today.]

    Why  the  all  the cloak 'n' dagger secrecy ? Blame the paranoia of the 
day,  if  you'd  like.  "Commies"  were  hiding under every rock and behind 
every  bush  [no  pun intended], waiting for the day to arise and overthrow 
our  democratic,  capitalist  government. In addition, it would be believed 
that  by  close  observance  of  the UFO phenomenon, perhaps our scientists 
might  learn  something  that  would  give  us  the  technological  edge in 
fighting  communism  in  the  event  of  an  all-out war. Russian spies had 
already  obtained  the secret plans for constructing the Atomic Bomb, so we 
had  lost  that  tactical advantage. Maintaining the "balance of power" was 
not  in  anyone's  game  plan.  Each  side was striving to develop some new 
"secret weapon" that would give them the "power edge" over "the enemy".

    I  doubt very seriously that there has ever been any Presidential Order 
or  directive  that  states  flatly,  "kill  anyone  who learns too much !" 
However,  the  general  policy  of  "protecting  the national interests" is 
broad  enough  that there is no doubt that some persons might interpret its 
designs  to  include  assassination.  There  has always been and there will 
always  be  over-zealous  persons  who would, quite dispassionately, commit 
cold-blooded  murder  (or  even  suicide)  if  they  felt  it to be "in the 
national  interests".  Not  only  would  this  behavior *-NOT-* require any 
special  orders  or  directives,  it might even take place entirely without 
the  knowledge  of  the  Chief  Executive  and  his  closest advisors. Such 
persons  would  undoubtably  recall  the  fate  of those accused by the War 
Crimes  Tribunals  in Germany and would take whatever measures necessary to 
"cover  their  tracks".  After  all, what "the Boss" doesn't know, he can't 
testify.

              ~4EQ U E S T I O N S   A N D   A N S W E R S ~1E

    ~1AGIVEN:  The  United States Goverment has established contact with an 
extra-terrestrial race of star-travellers.~1E

         a.)  Would  persons  or elements of the U.S. Government enter into 
a  secret agreement with these aliens, permitting them nearly unrestricted, 
secret access to human beings in return for technological advances ?

         b.)  Having  entered  into  such an agreement, if these persons or 
elements  of  the government discovered that the aliens had gone far beyond 
the  agreement  and  were  actually  abducting  and murdering human beings, 
would  these  persons  or  elements  of the government continue to keep the 
presence  of  the  aliens  secret,  abiding  by  "our half" of the alledged 
agreement ?

         c.)  Having  discovered  the  alledged  treachery  of  the aliens, 
would  these  persons  do  anything  to try to stop the aliens or to reveal 
their presence and their aims ? If not, why not ?

         d.)  Would  such  persons  *-DARE-* to assassinate a United States 
President in order to protect the secret of the alien's existence ?

    In  answer  to the first question ("a.", above), of course they would ! 
Until  COL  John  Glenn's orbital flight around the planet earth, our space 
program  could  boast  of an almost unbroken string of disastrous failures, 
misguided  missiles  that  had  to  be destroyed, launch-pad explosions and 
similar  catastrophic  examples  of human technological know-how. I have no 
doubt  that  the  government would have cheerfully done almost anything for 
the  potential  technological  advances  that  a  star-traveling race could 
offer.

    As  to  the  second  question  ("b.",  above),  I  would  imagine  that 
initially  the  normal  human  reaction  would  be  to  deny  the  evidence 
discovered,  looking  for a better, more acceptable explanation rather than 
admitting  that our [illegal] alien allies were not strictly abiding by the 
rules.  There  would  even be certain persons who would argue that the loss 
of  a  small  percentage  of  the  population  to  the  aliens  would be an 
"acceptable  loss" in view of the technological gains that promised to "put 
us  ahead  of the Russians". (Note: This type of individual, of which there 
are  always  a number in the professional military, are quick to claim that 
such-and-such  is  "an acceptable loss" as long as the loss is not to them, 
personally.)  The  tendency would be to attempt to minimize such actions on 
the  part of the aliens, but to do so in such a way that the "alien allies" 
would  not  be  antagonized,  thus  jeopardizing  the  continued receipt of 
technological advances.

    To  answer  the  third  set  of  questions, let us take an hypothetical 
situation.  Let  us  suppose  that you worked for a very large bank and you 
had  been  secretly  [and  very  illegally] embezzling huge amount of money 
from  the  bank.  One day you meet someone and, in an unguarded moment, you 
reveal  to  that  person  that you've been stealing from the bank. You new-
found  friend, in turn, steals a large amount of your ill-gotten gains from 
you.  <<<WHY, HE'S A THIEF !>>>, you say. Now, inasmuch as you obtained the 
money  through  highly  illegal means, I pose this simple question. To whom 
do you report the theft of your embezzled money ?

    Exactly  !  You cannot report it to anyone without first revealing that 
you  had  obtained  the funds by illegal means, yourself ! Can MJ-12 openly 
tell  the  public  that  we  have been invaded by Extra-terrestrials ? That 
they  are abducting human beings ? That the aliens are performing weird and 
sometimes   grotesque   experiments  on  the  abductees  ?  That  they  are 
impregnating  human  females  in  order to develop a race of hybrids ? That 
they  are  murdering  human  beings  ?  Of course not !!! They cannot do so 
without  first  revealing  that  they  have been in contact with these same 
aliens  as  sub-rosa allies for over forty years. They cannot do so without 
revealing  that  Project  Blue  Book was a sham from the very beginning - a 
means  of  spreading  disinformation  about  UFO  sightings,  and was never 
intended  to  be  a  serious study of the UFO phenomenon for release to the 
general  public.  To  do so would be to guarantee the collapse of whichever

administration  was  then  in  power and, quite likely, the imprisonment or 
execution  of  many of the persons responsible. Or, at least, that would be 
the  official  line  of  reasoning (that is, if ANY government agency could 
EVER be accused of using "reason").

    Would  persons  in  MJ-12 or NSA or any of the half-dozen or more other 
covert   organizations   and  Majestic-directed  projects  actually  murder 
anyone,  especially the President, in cold blood to protect their secrets ? 
I  would say that the probability is high enough that I wouldn't want to be 
a  "bookie"  taking  bets  against  it. Supposedly, they control the Secret 
Service.  They  control the investigative branches of government. They have 
access  to  the most sophisticated weaponry. They control those branches of 
government  that  would  be  held  responsible  for the final investigative 
report  (i.e.,  the Warren Commission). Finally, if anyone were to be close 
enough  to  actually  *-SEE-*  what  happened.....well,  "accidents" happen 
every  day,  don't  they  ?  [In  the  18  month period following President 
Kennedy's  assassination,  22 persons who had been close enough to see what 
actually  happened  have  been  reported  as  having died "of accidental or 
unnatural  causes".  The  odds against 22 persons being at one place at the 
time  of  the  assassination  and of these same 22 persons *-all-* dying of 
unnatural  causes  are, to put things mildly, astronomical. A careful study 
of  the  Zappruder  film of the assassination would indicate that a crucial 
number  of the film's frames, showing the President actually being hit, are 
missing  from  the  film  clip  that  is  generally shown to the public. No 
explanation has ever been made for this.)

    The  principal  problem  in  this area, as stated before, is that there 
have  always  been,  are  and  probably always will be persons for whom the 
murder  or "elimination" of a few human beings is "an acceptable loss" when 
balanced  against  "the  national interests" or "national security". During 
the  1950s,  government officials who were sworn to uphold the constitution 
blatantly  ignored  the tenets of the constitution in their frenetic search 
for  "commie  spies". The First Amendment Rights of hundreds of individuals 
were  trashed;  totally ignored. Now, we are no longer faced with the overt 
machinations  of  the  MacCarthy Hearings. In lieu of this, it would appear 
that  it  is  entirely possible that we are faced with the much more subtle 
threat  of  rigged  suicides,  faked  automobile  accidents  and  the like, 
compliments  of  a  covert organization that is totally beyond the reach of 
our elected government.

    It  has  been  suggested  that  we  write  to  our  elected  officials, 
demanding  that an investigation be held that would settle the existence or 
non-existence  of  MJ-12  once  and for all. Actually, to do so would be to 
invite  your elected officials to literally put their necks in a very real, 
very   lethal   noose.   If,  as  is  suspected,  Majestic  engineered  the 
assassination  of  President  John  F.  Kennedy  because  he  threatened to 
"reveal  all",  how  much  easier  would  it  be  to  arrange  a  few dozen 
"accidental deaths" of overly inquisitive congressmen and senators ?

    What  makes  the  whole  thing  even  more  ridiculous is the fact that 
inquisitive  persons,  such  as  those  of us who have found an interest in 
these  things  via  our  computer  bulletin  boards, are considered to be a 
threat to MJ-12. We are not the threat ! WE ARE THE SOLUTION !!!

    Think  of  it  !  If MJ-12 actually exists (which I believe it does), I 
really  feel  sorry  for the people involved in it. They did not create the 
situation.  That  was  done  long  ago  by  persons  who are now peacefully 
"pushing  up  daisies"  in  some  cemetary.  Most  of  the people who first 
created  MJ-12  and  its various sub-projects probably did so with the best 
of  all  intentions.  (I hesitate, at this point, to mention the old cliche 
that  says  that "the road to hell is paved with good intentions".) As with 
almost  any  such  organization,  given nearly unlimited power, it wouldn't 
take  long  before  there would be individuals who would use and abuse that 
power   to  suit  their  own  ends  or  their  own  peculiar  political  or 
philosophical beliefs.

    Given  the  heady  wine  of nearly unlimited power, it doesn't take too 
long  for  the  weaker  individuals  to  become  "drunk"  with  that power. 
Unfortunately,  as  with  all drunkenness, there comes a time when one pays 
the  price  for the binge with an humongous hangover. Those who established 
MJ-12  would  all  be  dead  or retired to comfortable senility by now. The 
second  or  possibly  the third generation of MJ-12 is now at the helm, and 
what  have  they  inherited  ? The heady wine of unlimited power ? Probably 
not.  More  than  likely,   the  dregs  at  the  bottom of the wine barrel. 
They're  riding  the  tiger's  back,  holding  on for dear life to his tail 
while  trying  to  devise  a  way  to  get off without becoming the tiger's 
lunch.  (The  "tiger", in this case, is public knowledge of their existence 
and activities.) 

    They  would, from the first day they "signed onboard", be faced with an 
impossible  situation.  To  them,  the  alledged "alien treaty" would be an 
historical  fact about which they can do nothing. Every waking moment would 
be filled with dark thoughts. 

         "How can we reverse this situation with the aliens ?" 
         
         "How  can  we  avoid  the  inevitable  blow-up  when  'the public'        
         finally discovers what's been happening ?" 
         
         "How can we protect the secret of Majestic's existence ?" 

    Questions....questions....questions....and  no  answers. I could really 
feel  sorry for them. They've stared at the same questions - the same sorry 
facts  -  the  same  evidence  for  so  long that they haven't a snowball's 
chance  in  hell  of  *-ever-*  seeing  an answer. They've lost what little 
perspective  they  may  have  had  on the situation as they suffer from the 
most  horrendous  political  hangover in history since the Romans crucified 
The Christ.

    In  writing this, I have treated the question of the existence of MJ-12 
and  the alledged "secret alien treaty" as an established fact. I have done 
so  for  the  simple reason that there has been altogether too much written 
on   the  subject  to  treat  it  as  anything  less  than  a  very  strong 
possibility.  In  writing  this  way,  it  would be much too easy for me to 
launch  into  a  blistering  diatribe,  condemning  the  people   involved. 
However,  that would merely serve the purposes of the real enemy involved - 
the  so-called  "greys" and their cohorts. I do not feel that those persons 
who  may be currently involved in MJ-12 are the enemy. Perhaps overzealous; 
perhaps misguided, but definitely *-NOT-* the enemy. 

    Of  course, one cannot excuse outright murder as a means of maintaining 
secrecy  or  "protecting  the national interests", but in a way, one can at 
least  understand  how  a  person, pushed to the limits trying to develop a 
way  out  of  an  untenable situation, could feel that "the quick 'n' dirty 
solution"  (i.e.  killing  someone  who knows too much) might "buy a little 
time"  until  a  better  solution could be found. Unfortunately, over forty 
years  have  passed and that "better solution" is still just as far away as 
it  ever  was.  Meanwhile,  the  "greys",  if  indeed they do exist, become 
stronger  day  by day and our position becomes just that much weaker due to 
lack of concrete knowledge.

    Is  there a solution ? I believe there is, but it will take someone who 
is  able to look at the situation from a slightly cockeyed point of view to 
see it. 

    In  the  '60s,  Star Trek was one of my favorite programs. It still is, 
come  to  think  of it. The plot of the series revolved around two combined 
elements.  First,  there was Captain James Tiberius Kirk. He would approach 
a  problem for which no one else could see a solution. He would look at the 
same  facts,  the  same  questions that everyone else had looked at, but he 
looked  at  things  from  a different perspective. Often "playing a hunch", 
he'd  see  a  (usually  somewhat  unorthodox)  solution  in short order. In 
addition,  he  was  frequently  held  in  check by the second element - the 
logical mind of his friend and companion, Spock.  

    We've  all  had  the  same thing to happen to us. You work and struggle 
with  a  problem  for weeks only to have a friend walk in, look at the same 
data  you  have  examined  ad infinitum; ad nauseam and immediately propose 
the  correct solution. Your friend merely looked at things from a different 
viewpoint.  As  they  say,  you were too close. You couldn't see the forest 
for all the trees. 

    It  would  be too easy for us to believe that "the greys" represent all 
extra-terrestrial  life, and that all extra-terrestrial life is inimical to 
humanity.  That  would  be  as foolish as saying that because Austrian-born

Adolph  Hitler was a homicidal maniac, then *-ALL-* Austrians are homicidal 
maniacs.  HORSE-MANURE  !  However, it would not be illogical to assume the 
existence  of a "Prime Directive" that would preclude intervention by these 
XTs  in  what  might  be  considered  as  a  "private brawl". Anyone who is 
familiar  with  Albert  Toler's "Future Shock" can easily imagine the chaos 
that  might be created by the unexpected revelation that there are hundreds 
of  technologically superior races among the stars. One has only to look at 
what  has  happened to the American Indians and the South Seas Islanders to 
see  the  potential  for  disaster.  One must assume that a technologically 
superior  race  of  star-travelers would also be aware of the potential for 
the  destruction  of a race in this manner and would take appropriate steps 
to preclude its occurrence.

    Unfortunately,  as with almost any "policy", carried to extremes it can 
be  as  dangerous  as  having  no  policy  at all. Unfortunately, this is a 
matter  that  does  not  involve  a  mere  handful of backwoods savages (us 
"earthlings")  on  a  minor  mudball  in space. Earth, it would appear, has 
specific  strategic  importance, as well. I strongly suspect, from the many 
varied  books  I have read concerning unusual occurences, that Earth is the 
location  of  some  form  of  natural  dimensional  gateway  or portal. Our 
presence  here  is  merely an added benefit to "the greys". If they are, as 
has  been  said, from another dimension, they use us for experiments to see 
what  the  difference  may  be  between beings of our dimension and theirs. 
They  use us as a slave labor force to build their underground enclaves. It 
has  even  been said that they use us as a source of nutrient material that 
can  be  processed  into  a  liquid which they absorbe as their sustenance. 
However,  the  principal importance of this tiny mudball of ours is that it 
may  be  the location of the gateway into this universe. Block that gateway 
and the greys are imprisoned in their own universe where they belong.

    Before  that  can  be done, the people of this planet must be gradually 
educated  to  the threat they face. You don't use the old Hollywood cliche, 
"I'm  gonna  blow  the  lid  off  of  this  project  !" That would create a 
sociological  explosion  that  could not help but destroy world governments 
and  create  chaos.  However,  like  letting  off  the  excess steam from a 
pressure  cooker,  you  let  it  off a little at a time so the damned thing 
doesn't blow up in your face.

    If  there  are XTs (other than the greys) on this planet, a way must be 
found  to  contact  them. Continued adherence to a "Prime Directive" policy 
of  non-interference  [by  such XTs] would merely make it possible for "the 
greys"  to complete their work here....and then go on to destroy or conquer 
other  planetary  civilizations.  I  recall  reading  about  the protestant 
clergyman  in  Nazi  Germany who did nothing as the Jews were hauled off to 
concentration  camp.  "After all," he thought, "they're just Jews." He also 
did  nothing  when  the  stormtroopers hauled off the Catholics and several 
other  religious  groups.....but  he  howled  like  a scalded dog when they 
began  hauling off members of *-HIS-* religion....only, by that time, there 
was no one left to listen to him or to help.

    It  has  been  said before by Presidents and Statesmen. Universal Peace 
on  our  planet  will  probably  never  happen  unless  all  people and all 
governments  are  faced  by  some great threat from outside. Well, it would 
appear  that  Now  Is  Our  Big  Chance  !  For  decades we have wasted our 
national  and  our  natural resources fighting an idiotic ideological "Cold 
War"  against  International  Communism. [No, I do not belittle the dangers 
of  International  Communism, but history seems to be teaching us right now 
that  such  a  system  *-CANNOT  WORK-* ! It will eventually destroy itself 
through  unkept  promises  to  its people and an unworkable economic system 
that  feeds  upon  itself.]  While  doing  so,  we  have  fought  a similar 
devastating  "war"  against  our  own  ecology  while  our  industrialists, 
promoters  and  developers  raped  the planet's resources in search of "The 
Fast  Buck".  Now,  it, would seem, we are faced with a much greater threat 
which  has  the  potential  of  wiping  out  the  human race as we know it, 
destroying  tens  of  thousands  of  years  of  progress, development, art, 
history and growth.

    Silly  title,  isn't  it. In a recent Majestic-related document, I read 
the  statement  that "The CIA doesn't trust people with computers." or some 
such  nonsense.  It  very  well  may  be  true.  However, it is people like 
yourselves  -  those who suffer {?} from computer-mania - who may very well 
be  the  key  that unlocks the box of hidden information. You have, at your 
very  fingertips,  an invaluable communications medium - your computer. You 
"let  your fingers to the walking - and the talking" while you roam through 
various   bulletin  boards  via your computer and modem. You chit-chat with 
computer  friends  across  the length and bredth of this nation, exchanging 
programs  and  bits  of  information.  For  some  of  us,  what starts as a 
pleasant  hobby  becomes  almost an obsession. The computer becomes a mind-
expanding  tool we use to learn new things and, in a way, visit new places, 
meeting  new people with similar interests. However, that keyboard in front 
of  you  can  also  become  a  weapon. Information is and always has been a 
potent  weapon  !  It  has  decided the outcome of countless conflicts down 
through the ages and it can have a crucial effect upon today, as well.

    The  odd  thing  is that it doesn't really matter whether MJ-12 or "the 
greys"  even  exist.  Sometimes  the  searching  is more important than the 
finding.....especially  if  it  helps to draw us all closer together. If we 
seek and   ask, search and determine....and we do it together, then we have 
accomplished  something  extremely  important.  Of course, you may not even 
believe  in  MJ-12  or  in  the  "little grey men". You may decide that the 
whole  thing  is  an elaborate hoax. You may decide to take up your marbles 
and  go  play  somewhere  else.  If you do, that is a personal decision you 
have  made,  but  you  may very possibly miss out on a great adventure. The 
choice is yours. As for myself.....
